Outreach and Education

SVACA staff educate hundreds of students annually. Program topics range from how to properly care for a companion animal to how to stay safe around stray dogs.

SVACA provides these interactive and lively educational programs for schools, civic groups, and other local organizations.

Outreach Programs

Kiddies 2 Kitties Reading Program

The Kiddies 2 Kitties program gives students ages 5+ the opportunity to read to adoptable cats at SVACA's Animal Care Center. The program takes place on Wednesdays from 3:30 - 5:00 p.m. SVACA does not provide books.

Birthday Parties

SVACA hosts birthday parties for kids in first grade and older. Our two-hour celebration includes a fun hands-on kitten session, making it a special day to remember. Families can bring their own decorations, activities, food, drinks, and cake to personalize the celebration. Email francesca@svaca.com for more information and to book an unforgettable birthday bash.
