Services
SVACA strives to ensure the well-being of both animals and people by providing cost-effective yet efficient animal care and control services for Campbell, Los Gatos, Monte Sereno, Mountain View, and Santa Clara. We also work to provide a superior level of compassionate care for all living things through our Field, Medical and Shelter Services Departments.
Field Services
SVACA’s Field Services Team respond to calls for service that range from rescuing animals in distress to investigating animal cruelty. Animal Control Officers are available for emergency response 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
Field Services protects the public’s health and safety by investigating animal bites.
General animal complaints and issues such as collecting stray animals and investigating nuisance animals are also handled.
Field Services works in conjunction with our other departments to provide our licensing program, feral cat services, and wildlife services.
Medical Services
SVACA’s Medical Services Team works tirelessly to provide a high level of medical care for our Animal Care Center guests and the public’s animals at our spay and neuter clinic. SVACA also offers low-cost rabies and microchips by appointment.
SVACA CARES Clinic
The SVACA CARES Clinic offers affordable services to the animals of low-income residents of Santa Clara, Campbell, Los Gatos, Monte Sereno and Mountain View.
Shelter Services
SVACA’s Shelter Services Team dedicate themselves to our animal guests and provide compassionate care 365 days a year since the center never truly closes.
Adoption Services provide adopters with their new best friend while Lost and Found Services reunite animals with their families.
There are many reasons why people consider surrendering their animal. The Shelter Services Team do their all to help folks work through issues by providing advice and resources so animals can remain with their families.
